Garrison Brothers Bottled In Bond 750ml

Garrison Brothers Bottled in Bond is the first Bottled in Bond release from Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye, Texas, the first legal bourbon distillery outside Kentucky and Tennessee in modern times, founded in 2006. It is made from a wheated mash bill (74% corn, 15% wheat, 11% malted barley), distilled in fall 2019, aged six Texas summers, and proofed with Hill Country rainwater. As a Bottled in Bond bourbon it comes from one distilling season at one distillery, aged at least four years in a bonded warehouse, and bottled at exactly 100 proof (50% ABV).

Maple syrup, brown sugar, charred oak, cinnamon, and a touch of smoke on the nose. The palate is rich with malted chocolate milkshake, baking spices, leather, and toasted oak, and the finish brings dried tobacco leaf and black pepper. Best neat or in a classic Old Fashioned.
