Copalli Cacao Rum 750 ml

Copalli Cacao is an organic, single-estate rum from the Copal Tree Distillery in the rainforest of southern Belize. Copalli's white rum, made from fresh-pressed organic sugarcane juice, is rested with roasted organic cacao nibs grown on the estate and then redistilled. It is bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV). It's not a sweet chocolate liqueur; the cacao nibs give a subtler, drier cocoa character.

Distinct cacao on the nose. The palate is like Belizean chocolate, with berry notes and a rich, balanced cocoa flavor, and the finish is long and creamy. Pairs well with coffee, nuts, and caramel, and with fruit such as Meyer lemon, fig, and blackberry. Good over ice or in a Daiquiri.
