Chopin Family Reserve Extra Rare Vodka 750ml

Chopin Family Reserve is the sipping vodka from the Dorda family's Chopin distillery in eastern Poland, and one of the rarest bottlings in the lineup. It is made from young potatoes grown on the distillery's own estate fields without chemicals or pesticides and harvested only about three months into the growing season, when they carry a sweeter, more delicate character.

The spirit is distilled to hold on to that potato flavor rather than strip it away, and it has been rested in old Polish oak barrels, which is unusual for vodka. The result is a vodka with real personality: hints of spice and a gentle, sweet musk on the nose, then a delicate earthy sweetness with understated licorice and clove and a medium-long finish. It is naturally gluten-free.

Master Distiller Waldemar Durakiewicz recommends serving it at cellar temperature, around 50 to 59 degrees Fahrenheit, and sipping it neat.
