Castle & Key Small Batch Bourbon 750ml

Castle & Key Small Batch Bourbon comes from the restored Old Taylor Distillery site outside Frankfort, Kentucky, one of the most storied properties in bourbon. The team brought the historic grounds back to life and has been releasing its own distillate as it comes of age.

Breaking Bourbon lists the mash bill as 73% corn, 17% malted barley and 10% rye. The earliest 2022 batches were about four years old at 98 proof; the July 2025 release steps up to six years and 101 proof. Expect bright summer fruit, honey, caramel and graham cracker on the nose, baking spice, golden raisin and light citrus on the palate, and a finish of cinnamon, toffee, orange peel and butterscotch.

A lively, fruit-forward bourbon that works neat or in an Old Fashioned.
