Calumet Farm 8 Year Old is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon named for the storied Lexington horse farm. Each batch is drawn from fewer than 50 hand-selected barrels, so the whiskey stays consistent while still showing the character of a small-batch release.

Vanilla and a little fruit lead on the palate, then give way to soft white pepper and a full, woody middle. The finish is balanced and gently sweet, with a rich but understated caramel note that lingers as it fades. At 90 proof it has enough weight to feel substantial without masking those details.

Pour it neat or over a single large cube, or use it in a Manhattan where the oak and spice have room to show. It is a good step into age-stated bourbon for drinkers moving on from younger bottles.
