Beefeater London Dry Gin 750 ml

Beefeater is a classic London Dry Gin still made in Kennington, London. The recipe traces back to James Burrough, who bought a Chelsea distillery in 1862 and created Beefeater in 1876.

Nine botanicals shape the gin: juniper, angelica root, angelica seed, coriander seed, licorice root, orris root, almond, lemon peel and Seville orange peel. On the nose, Seville orange peel leads into juniper and coriander. The palate moves from citrus to piney juniper, and the long finish runs through spicy coriander and angelica to a softer almond sweetness.

It's bold and juniper-forward at 88 proof, so it's a go-to for a Martini, Negroni or gin and tonic.
