Balcones Cataleja Texas Single Malt 750 ml

Balcones Cataleja is a Texas single malt made from 100% Golden Promise malted barley, released for the distillery's 15th anniversary. It spent three years in used bourbon barrels, then moved to 80-plus-year-old Spanish sherry solera puncheons that held Moscatel, Amontillado Dulce, Oloroso and Palo Cortado, before neutral barrels and refill puncheons. It is bottled at 59% ABV.

Expect brandied figs, smoked paprika, medjool dates and cacao nib. Sip it neat or with water. 750 mL.
