Description
Voerzio Martini Barolo is a Barolo DOCG made from Nebbiolo grown in La Morra, Piedmont. The estate was long run by Gianni Voerzio and passed in 2012 to the Martini family, with Mirko Martini as winemaker and his twin Federica alongside him. Vineyards are farmed organically, thinned by hand and picked by hand.
Expect red cherry, cassis, roses and a touch of vanilla over firm, fine-grained tannins.
Decant and serve at cool room temperature with mushroom dishes, braised beef or aged cheeses. 750 mL.
