Rey Sol Extra Anejo 750 ml

Rey Sol is an extra añejo tequila from Casa San Matías (NOM 1103) in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, made from blue Weber agave cooked in stone ovens, distilled in stainless steel pot stills, and aged in French oak. It is bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in a crystal decanter and case designed by Mexican artist Sergio Bustamante.

Expect caramel, vanilla, and cooked agave, with dried fruit, butterscotch, and dark chocolate on the nose and dark plum and cherry on the palate. Sip it neat.
