Puntagave Double Barrel Anejo 750ml

Puntagave Double Barrel Añejo is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila from the Jalisco highlands, made at Compañía Tequilera Hacienda La Capilla (NOM 1479) in Capilla de Guadalupe. The agave is double distilled in copper pot stills, and the tequila is aged in both American oak and French oak barrels before blending. Bottled at 82 proof (41% ABV).

Expect roasted and sweet cooked agave with citrus, vanilla, and oak on the nose, followed by caramel, dried fruit, and dark chocolate on the palate and a long finish of oak and gentle spice. Best sipped neat or with a single large ice cube.
