Description
Pernod Absinthe is a French absinthe from Pernod Ricard, revived in 2013 from the original 19th-century recipe of the Pernod distillery in Pontarlier. It is distilled with grand wormwood, petite wormwood, anise, fennel, hyssop and lemon balm, and takes its natural green color from the botanicals. It is bottled at 68% ABV.
Expect wormwood, anise, fresh herbs and lemon zest with a lightly bitter finish.
Serve it the traditional way with chilled water slowly dripped over a sugar cube, or use a dash in a Sazerac. 750 mL.
