Peerless Kentucky Straight Rye 750 ml

Peerless Kentucky Straight Rye comes from Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co. in Louisville. The Peerless name dates to the 1880s in Henderson, Kentucky, and was revived in 2014 by Corky Taylor and his son Carson, great-grandson and great-great-grandson of the original owner, Henry Kraver. Every batch is made from a fresh sweet mash and bottled at barrel proof and non-chill-filtered, so the exact proof varies a little from batch to batch (typically above 108).

Sweet tones of maple, brown sugar, and light citrus, with rye spice, and a finish with a hint of oak. Best neat, or with a few drops of water.
