Description
Opus One is the Oakville, Napa Valley estate founded as a joint venture between Robert Mondavi and Baron Philippe de Rothschild, with a first vintage in 1979. Its single red wine is a Bordeaux-style blend built on Cabernet Sauvignon, rounded out with varieties such as Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot in proportions that change by vintage.
Decant before serving alongside roast beef, lamb or aged cheeses. 1.5 L magnum.
