Milagro Silver Tequila 750 ml

Milagro was founded in 1998 by two college friends from Mexico City who set out to make a tequila that reflected the city's energy. Milagro Silver is made from 100% blue agave grown in the Jalisco highlands, where red, mineral-rich soil and cool mountain nights help the agave develop its sweetness.

The piñas are slow-roasted for about 36 hours in brick ovens, fermented for 72 hours, then double distilled in both pot and column stills under master distiller Pedro Juarez. Milagro describes aromas of lemongrass, citrus and black pepper, with bright fresh agave, citrus and pear on the palate.

Unaged and crisp, it is a natural fit for margaritas. Milagro's own version: 2 parts Silver, 1 part fresh lime juice and 3/4 part agave syrup, shaken and served on the rocks.
