Loco Blanco 750 ml

Loco Tequila Blanco is made at Hacienda La Providencia in El Arenal, Jalisco, from 7- to 8-year-old blue agave grown within 2.5 miles of the hacienda. The pinas are roasted for nearly three days in masonry ovens, crushed with a tahona, fermented with native yeasts in wooden vats, and double distilled in small copper stills. Bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV); each bottle is numbered and comes in a case designed by artist Jan Hendrix.

The nose shows fresh agave, green bell pepper, rosemary, pear, apple, lime, and a stony minerality, followed by a creamy palate of sweet agave and saline minerality with a silky, medium-long finish. Sip it neat or use it in a margarita.
