Hotel Starlino Torino Rosso Vermouth 750 ml

Hotel Starlino Rosso is a Vermouth di Torino from Torino Distillati, a family-run distillery just outside Turin that has been making vermouth for around 100 years. It's built on Italian white wine and Marsala, blended with botanicals including wormwood, cloves, vanilla pods, rhubarb, ginger, and bitter orange peel, and aged about a month in Kentucky bourbon barrels. Bottled at 34 proof (17% ABV).

Fruity and herbal on the nose, with prune, candied orange, vanilla, and a touch of clove and wormwood. The palate is sweet and fruity with balancing bitterness, dried orange peel, and stewed tea, and the finish is bittersweet with lingering vanilla and oak. Serve over ice with an orange twist, with soda, or in a Negroni or Manhattan.
