Glendalough Wild Rose Gin 750 ml

Glendalough Wild Rose Gin comes from Glendalough Distillery in County Wicklow, Ireland, and it carries a family story in every batch. Head Distiller Ciaran "Rowdy" Rooney created it as a tribute to his late mother, Rose, and the recipe still uses roses from her garden alongside wild roses foraged in the Wicklow Mountains.

The distillery builds on its Wild Botanical Gin, redistilling it with extra fruit, flowers, spice and plenty of fresh rose petals. Gentle vapor distillation draws out the rose oils, and a post-distillation infusion deepens the flavor and gives the gin its natural pink hue.

Expect bright lemon, blood orange and soft juniper on the nose, then rose petal, bright berries and Turkish Delight on the palate, finishing long with pink peppercorn and earthy spice. It has taken Country Winner honors at the World Gin Awards (2021 and 2023). Try it with tonic or in a spritz.
