Elijah Craig Rye 750 ml

Elijah Craig Straight Rye is a Kentucky straight rye from Heaven Hill, released in January 2020. It uses a mash bill of 51% rye, 35% corn, and 14% malted barley and is bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV). Elijah Craig, a Baptist minister and early Kentucky distiller, is credited by tradition as a pioneer of bourbon in the state; his name has been on Heaven Hill's flagship bourbon for decades.

Burnt orange and maple on the nose with toffee, vanilla, and caramel. The palate has dry baking spices, clove, cinnamon, and molasses, and the finish is long and sweet. Works neat or in a Manhattan or Old Fashioned.
