Clase Azul Dia De Los Muertos Limited Edition Anejo 2024 1 L

Clase Azul Día de Muertos Limited Edition 2024, named Música, is an añejo tequila aged 26 months, first in American whiskey barrels and then split, with part finished in Isle of Skye Scotch whisky casks and part in Speyside casks, before being blended back together. It is bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in a 1-liter plum-colored decanter with a back illustration by Mexican artist David Espinosa and a 24-karat gold accordion-playing Catrina on top, handmade from nearly 40 brass pieces at the Milagros de Latón workshop in Jalisco. The release is limited to 10,000 decanters.

Master distiller Viridiana Tinoco describes one part of the blend as smoky, recalling the candles and incense of the holiday, and the other as sweet, suggesting the foods placed on ofrendas. Sip it neat.
