Chicken Cock Rum Barrel Rye Island Rooster Kentucky Straight 750ml

Chicken Cock Island Rooster is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey made from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, distilled at Bardstown Bourbon Company and aged over four years. It is finished for at least six months in Caribbean rum barrels and bottled at 95 proof (47.5% ABV).

Expect light rye spice, brown sugar, and vanilla custard on the nose, with maple sugar candy and seasoned oak on a buttery palate and a long finish of rye spice, tobacco, and burnt brown sugar. Good neat, on the rocks, or in a rye Old Fashioned.
