Carrera Añejo Double Distilled Tequila 750 ml

Carrera Añejo is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila from the highlands around Arandas, Jalisco. The agave is slow-roasted in traditional masonry ovens, naturally fermented, and double distilled before the spirit goes into American oak barrels for more than a year of aging.

That time in oak shows right away. The nose opens with caramel, vanilla, and roasted agave, and the palate brings oak, toasted almond, light cocoa, and baking spice over a medium-to-full, smooth body. The finish lingers with pepper, sweet wood, and a touch of citrus peel, so the agave never gets lost under the barrel.

Treat it like a fine aged spirit: sip it neat from a snifter or over a single large cube, or use it in place of whiskey in an Old Fashioned with a dash of agave syrup and orange bitters.
