Caribou Crossing Single Barrel holds a special place in Canadian whisky history: when the Sazerac Company launched it, it was hailed as the first single-barrel Canadian whisky from a major producer in well over a century. Master Blender Drew Mayville drew on a stock of more than 200,000 barrels of Canadian whisky to choose the casks, and each bottle comes from one individually numbered barrel.

Expect a nose of rye spice, vanilla and butterscotch layered over dark fruit and stewed prunes. The palate is soft and creamy, with sweet corn, citrus and ripe red fruit giving way to fresh-cut wood, cedar and peppery spice. The finish is medium in length, drying out with tannic oak and a final spicy lift.
