Michters Sour Mash 750 ml

Michter's US*1 Sour Mash Whiskey is a small-batch Kentucky whiskey aged in fire-charred new American white oak barrels and bottled at 86 proof (43% ABV). The name refers to the sour mash method, which reuses a portion of previously fermented mash to start the next batch, not to the flavor. Its grain recipe means it can't be classed as either a bourbon or a rye, and it starts out like a bourbon and finishes like a rye. In 2019 it became the first American whiskey named Whisky of the Year by The Whisky Exchange.

Warm toasted burnt sugar and spice with smoky fruit, candied cherries, and honeyed vanilla.
