Dry Fly Distilling was founded in Spokane, Washington, and its straight wheat whiskey is the backbone of the lineup. This Port Barrel Finish version ages the wheat whiskey 3 years in new American oak, then moves it into freshly dumped port wine barrels for another 9 to 12 months.

The port time layers dark fruit and wine character over the soft, sweet profile that wheat whiskey is known for. Dry Fly calls it the place where "wine meets whiskey," and it scored 94 points from both Wine Enthusiast and Tasting Panel Magazine in 2020.
