Slipknot No. 9 Reserve 750 ml

Slipknot No. 9 Reserve is the higher-proof edition of the whiskey the band Slipknot created with Cedar Ridge Distillery. It showcases Iowa corn with extra spice from a hefty rye content.

According to Virginia ABC's listing, it's a blend of straight rye and straight bourbon, aged 3 to 4 years, from a mash of 51% corn, 35% malted rye and 14% two-row malted barley, bottled at 99 proof. Whisky Advocate rated it 88 points, noting lemon oil, cake batter and sunflower seeds on the nose, toasted oak, wintergreen and vanilla on the palate, and sweet oak with lingering spice on the finish.
