Clermont Steep Malted Barley 5 year 750ml

Clermont Steep is Jim Beam's first American single malt, developed by eighth-generation master distiller Freddie Noe and released in 2023. It is made from 100% American malted barley (mostly standard malt with some golden pilsner malt), fermented with the Beam family jug yeast, column distilled, and aged five years in Clermont, Kentucky, in barrels that are toasted and then lightly charred (char level 1). Bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV).

Warm toffee sweetness on the palate without covering the bready, malty taste of American barley. Smooth and sweet, and good neat or in an Old Fashioned.
