The riserva was created in memory of Antonio Nonino, whose original amaro recipe was kept in small wooden casks. Bottled at 70 proof (35% ABV).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eA golden amaro with a nose of aromatic herbs, vanilla, raisins, and flambéed orange, with balsamic notes balancing the bitterness of rhubarb. The palate follows with herbal notes and the character of barrel-aged grappa, and the finish adds chamomile, gentian, and warming spice.
